Terms of Use
Effective Date: 11/01/23
This Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between All Paws on Deck, hereinafter referred to as the “Service Provider,” and the client, hereinafter referred to as the “Client.”
1. Services Provided: The Service Provider agrees to provide dog walking and pet sitting services as described in the service agreement between the parties.
2. Payment: a. Client agrees to pay for services rendered by the Service Provider within 14 days from the date of billing. b. Payments can be made via cash, check, or Venmo. Late payments may be subject to a 10 percent late fee.
3. Key Return and Collateral: a. Client agrees to provide a spare key or access code to the Service Provider for the duration of the service. b. Keys will be returned to the Client promptly at the end of the service period or as otherwise agreed upon. c. In the event of lost keys or failure to return keys, the Client agrees to cover the cost of key replacement or any necessary lock changes. d. Any collateral provided by the Client will be returned promptly upon the satisfactory completion of services.
4. Cancellation and Refunds: a. Cancellations made 1 day or more in advance of scheduled services are eligible for a full refund. b. Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled services may be subject to a 10 percent cancellation fee.
5. Emergency Situations: a. In the event of a medical emergency or other unforeseen circumstance involving the client’s pet, the Service Provider will make reasonable efforts to contact the Client. b. If the Client cannot be reached, the Service Provider is authorized to seek veterinary care for the pet at the Client’s expense.
6. Death of Animals: a. In the unfortunate event of the death of a client’s pet while under the care of the Service Provider, the Client will be notified immediately. b. Service Provider is not liable for any unforeseen health issues or accidents resulting in the death of a pet.
7. Liability: a. The Service Provider agrees to provide services in a professional and responsible manner. b. The Client agrees that the Service Provider is not liable for any damages, injuries, or illnesses that occur to the client’s pet(s) unless it is a result of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
8. Confidentiality: a. Both parties agree to keep all information shared during the provision of services confidential.
9. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Washington State Municipal Code.
10. Miscellaneous: a. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements, whether written or oral. b. Amendments to this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.
By engaging the services of the Service Provider, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
